Job Overview The Department of Biological Sciences is a collaborative research community with research foci in Sensory Biology and Behavior (SBB), Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Physiology (MBGP), and Ecology, Evolution, & Conservation (EEC). This position will interact with and complement these departmental research foci. Within the university, interactions and interdisciplinary collaborations are also encouraged with faculty in the College of Arts & Sciences (e.g., Psychology, Physics and Chemistry), the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science), and the College of Medicine (e.g., Gardner Neuroscience Institute). Further opportunities for connection and collaboration exist through interdisciplinary entities such as the Center for Cognition, Action, and Perception and the Institute for Research in Sensing.
