What You Get to Do:

• Perform diverse horticultural grounds keeping and greenhouse tasks such as watering weeding planting transplanting pruning mulching and mowing
• Provide supervision and training of ambassadors in carrying out grounds keeping operations and provide performance feedback counseling and developmental discussions
• Operate and all maintain equipment: mowers augers trimmers shears tillers utility carts water tanks tractors forklift etc.
• Perform tasks related to cold-weather protection as well as preparation for storms and perform repair work for any weather damage or other damage
• Prep maintain and staff seasonal firepits
• Maintain a safe clean professional workplace
• Provide exemplary service to guests and team members.
• Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks lunches and hours worked per day
• Assist with other duties as assigned

What else is important:

• Must be 18 or older
• A valid drivers license and ability to obtain a park drivers license
• Detail oriented able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment under general supervision
• Ability to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
• Must provide flexible consistent availability (including nights weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement
• Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations
• Ability to stand walk and work for prolonged periods of time
• Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications
