What You'll Do:
As a remote BCBA, you'll play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing training to staff and caregivers. You'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals with autism, helping them to develop essential skills and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify behavioral needs and goals.
Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessments and clinical data.
Implement and supervise BIPs in various settings, including home, school, and via telehealth.
Monitor and analyze data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other team members.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
What You'll Bring:
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Tennessee license and LBA are preferred; willingness to obtain them is a must.
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing BIPs.
Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals.
Commitment to ethical standards and professional growth.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various client locations.
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the physical capability to engage in prolonged sitting, walking, occasional running, standing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above the head, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
