M.S. Walker is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Business Analyst to provide support in the form of financial sales analysis and reporting to the sales and brand management team, operational team and executive leadership team. To employ pricing strategies that meet M.S. Walker’s standards, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all pricing objectives. This is an entry level position so if you are early on in your career as a Business Analyst and excited about the wine and spirits industry, this may be the role for you! This is an in-office role with the opportunity for flexible hybrid scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Daily, monthly & annual sales and financial reporting including, but not limited to, depletion reporting, incentive program resolution, depletion allowance reconciliation, sales forecasting, etc.
Conduct ROI analysis of sales programs, incentives and other spends.
Assist sales management, portfolio managers and selling team with varied sales related tasks.
Continuously monitor, audit and analyze pricing activity.
Read, interpret and discuss pricing requests with Sales or Brand Managers to assure proper understanding of the exception and related pricing implications. Including price increases, changes in tax and/or freight, price support, etc.
Work with all National team members on the daily management and implementation of pricing with a focus.
Work with the Sales Administration team on the daily management of our Massachusetts focused local and national retail chain business.
Assist with analysis work pertaining to supplier/producer accounts receivables.
Assist with validating and maintaining KPI Forms for Sales Specialists and Brand Ambassadors.
Additional Information:
This position will be eligible for a hybrid/flex schedule with 1-3 days in office each week upon successful completion of an initial onsite training period.
