Ready for a challenging and rewarding role? As a Commercial Tool Designer, you will play a key part in crafting new and improving existing thermoformed packaging tools, ensuring they align with D&W Fine Pack standards. Guiding the design journey alongside our Tool Design Manager, your role will be dynamic and impactful.

Responsibilities You'll Embrace:

  • Lead innovative design for thermoforming and injection tool projects.
  • Collaborate to enhance molding processes with advanced tools.
  • Generate and maintain precise documentation for tooling details and guidelines.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination during tool inspections.
  • Support tool room functions across machining and detailed assembly tasks.
  • Engage in CNC programming assistance and sourcing materials for tool builds.

Administration & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with safety practices and track your design activities weekly.
  • Offer engineering support when needed and manage assigned tasks efficiently.

Step into Success:

Bring to the team:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering or an equivalent hands-on background.
  • CAD expertise in programs like Solid Works and DraftSight, with Mastercam knowledge.
  • Practical problem-solving experience in tooling design.

Work Environment:
