We are currently seeking a Creative Director to join our US-based Strategic Growth team. This person has built out concepts and visuals. They have worked on projects around technology.

Location:  While this is a remote role, the preference is to have someone in the New York or surrounding area allowing occasional team meetings.

As a Creative Director, you’ll contribute to some of the most ambitious work we share with clients. You’ll support our Strategic Growth team as we build relationships with prospective clients in conversations, workshops, editorial experiences, and more, and you’ll collaborate with other practitioners to produce visuals that bring innovative technology ideas and narratives to life.

Our team is comprised of a diverse group of practitioners with backgrounds in media, politics, publishing, content strategy, design, government, and more. • You can adapt your message in advance and on the fly so that it resonates with different audiences

What you’ll be doing:  

• Developing creative directions and concepts for client-facing artifacts and marketing efforts, including: high-fidelity designs of digital products and experiences, emerging technology solutions, storyboard narratives, social media assets, prototypes, and more
• Crafting immersive digital campaigns and visuals that captivate and engage our clients and express the Launch perspective
• Collaborating with engineers, designers, and strategists to develop visual concepts and ensure they’re both aspirational and representative of a feasible development process
• Researching market and industry trends to inform a compelling visual and creative direction for client proposals
• Supporting the creation and refinement of client proposals and other public-facing documents
• Contributing to and facilitating workshops with peers and clients from time to time

Basic Qualifications:  

• 7+ years of experience with marketing, sales, brand, creative, and/or product strategy as part of multi-disciplinary teams
• Versatility is essential; you should bring comfort and confidence to a variety of design venues, from screens of all sizes to editorial on the printed page
• Proven track record in brand and/or visual design with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise and demonstrating an ability to bring dynamic and engaging visuals to life
• Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and familiarity with emerging design tools and software, including the use of artificial intelligence tools
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and SharePoint
• Experience in and love for presenting big ideas to clients and stakeholders and absorbing feedback for design iteration
• Proven track record of successfully working with deadlines and ambiguity, as well as sharing in-progress work at all levels of fidelity
• Ability to rapidly build expertise on new businesses and industries and a deep understanding of the technology space with an interest in the latest UX and visual trends
• You can explain a design system and an API to a dentist or a zookeeper
• Strong opinions, weakly held

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in 3D rendering software (such as Blender) and motion graphics
• Prior experience working with major brands and provocative challengers in a client services / agency environment

Basic Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience with marketing, sales, brand, creative, and/or product strategy as part of multi-disciplinary teams
• Ceated actual visual ideas and concepts
