As a member of our Descartes Customer Support team, you will work in a dynamic environment providing support and training for our customers. You will be required to answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with the software or requesting assistance on specific software features.
Responsibilities:
• Responding to customer telephone calls and emails.
• Proactive monitoring of application behavior, and performing Training and QA
• Troubleshooting Descartes application software issues reported by customers.
• Maintaining customer contact and call ticket information within an existing database.
• Developing procedural and diagnostic documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• University or College level in a computer science or technology program (or equivalent).
• Experience within Transportation Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Industry.
• Customs Brokerage certification
• Experience in FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone Operations)
• Experience in the use of ABI and/or AMS software is particularly helpful, Descartes Oneview, Descartes NetCHB, Descartes QuestaWeb
• Knowledge of EDI messaging and/or other data integration technologies is a plus
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications
• Team oriented, with the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to multi-task.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must work well under pressure to meet the demands of our customers.
• Service oriented and solution driven.
• Experience within Transportation Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Industry.
• Experience with wireless communications.

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 USD. Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
