We are now offering a Summer Data Science Internship for Graduate Students seeking academic credit (this is an unpaid position). In this role, you will support data-focused initiatives within our data science team—gathering and processing data, contributing to model evaluation discussions, and collaborating on metrics and reporting. You’ll also observe and participate in the full data science and analytics lifecycle, gaining exposure to best practices in both data science and cybersecurity.
Academic Enrollment
Must be enrolled in a relevant graduate program at an accredited university in the United States and eligible to receive academic credit for this unpaid internship
Technical Proficiency
Familiarity with SQL for querying and aggregating data
Basic knowledge of Python (data manipulation, scripting)
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and common evaluation metrics
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding
Collaboration & Communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and sharing findings
Comfortable working in a team environment—asking questions, gathering requirements, and iterating on feedback
Organization & Self-Motivation
Ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting
Detail-oriented approach to coding, reporting, and documentation
Duration : ~10–12 weeks (Summer 2025)
Weekly Commitment : ~20 hours/week (flexible with academic schedules)
Compensation : Unpaid (for academic credit only); not eligible for benefits; proof of enrollment in and eligibility to receive academic credit from a relevant graduate program at an accredited university based in the United States is required
Location : Remote-friendly (within United States), with optional in-person work at our Boston office
