Electronics Technician
Forest Lake MN | Contract | $24-26/hr

Konik is partnering with an innovative engineering organization that is expanding its vehicle testing capabilities. They are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support the design, build, and validation of cutting-edge vehicle electronics and software systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician with a passion for wiring, diagnostics, and supporting advanced test infrastructure.

Electronics Technician Responsibilities:

• Build and wire Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches used in vehicle electronics and software testing
• Design, assemble, and troubleshoot custom wiring harnesses and test setups
• Perform electrical diagnostics, resolving wiring and hardware issues quickly and accurately
• Maintain accurate documentation of wiring diagrams, test configurations, and change logs
• Work closely with engineers and validation teams to provide feedback on test systems and suggest improvements
• Ensure lab safety standards are followed and report any potential hazards

Electronics Technician Ideal Background & Skills:

• 2-year degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred (Automotive or Mechanical degrees accepted with relevant electrical experience)
• Demonstrated experience working with vehicle electrical systems
• Skilled in reading and interpreting wiring schematics and building custom harnesses
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• High attention to detail and ability to manage priorities independently
