Events Specialist- Badlands Offroad Park

Badlands Offroad Park is looking for a top-notch, highly energetic leadership team member to coordinate and operate small to extremely large, multi-faceted events.

The Absolutes of This Position Are:

Seamless Event Planning and Execution - On a small to large scale, the planning, organization, execution, and operations of Badlands events are a sizable portion of the position's responsibilities. The best fit for this position is an individual with the experience and wherewithal to anticipate and prevent obstacles. If you possess superior organizational and project management skills this job is for you.  Event Management Experience Requirements: 5 years of experience in professional event planning and execution.

Handle an Extremely Fast-Paced Environment - This job is rewarding but tough. There is little to no downtime with priorities that change constantly. The job responsibilities are multifaceted and take a great deal of mental and physical energy. If you can handle long lines of customers, and multiple demanding departments while maintaining peace, positivity, and professionalism this job is for you.  Environmental Work Experience Requirements: 10 years of experience managing in a high-volume, multi-departmental customer-based role.

Maximize Sales and Grow the Business - We are looking for a financially astute individual who always has their profit senses turned ON. The Events Coordinator continuously looks for ways to run the events more efficiently while increasing sales. If you are keenly aware of the financial responsibilities you have to the company and can set and exceed sales and attendance goals this is the job for you.  Business Development Experience Requirements: Proven success in the ability to create and follow budgeting, maximize sales figures, create revenue-generating programming, and set and exceed goals.

Technical Skills Required:

- Knowledge of Google-based software

- Knowledge of running and operating high level events with the adaptability to make adjustments on the fly

Other Requirements:

· Flexibility with duties with the desire to learn and grow

· Upbeat, outgoing, friendly demeanor

· Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional long hours

· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, reach, stoop, twist, and grasp with hands

· Ability to work outdoors in cold or hot weather, rain, or high winds

· Valid driver’s license

· Advanced business management degree (or a combination of education and experience to fulfill job requirements)

· Other duties as necessary
