Job Description

System One has an immediate need for an Events/Marketing Assistant in Lynchburg, VA. Opportunity is a 5 month, part-time, temporary contract position, 100% in the office.


This role will be responsible for supporting the Manager of Conferences and Customer Events, within a Marketing and Communications department.



Requirements:

• 3-5 years related office work experience is required
• Corporate event planning experience
• Manage conference/event logistics experience
• Exceptional office communications experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook/Calendar

The ideal candidate will possess the following skillset:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
• Fast learner on variety of software platforms
• Great attention to detail
• Problem solving skills
• Profession writing and editing skills
