Job Title: Facilities TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team in a dynamic environment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals ready to embark on their career journey, right out of high school, with a focus on developing skills in building maintenance and inspection. This role involves a variety of tasks including painting, patching, ceiling and tile inspection, and basic handyman duties. You will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our facilities, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities + Perform ceiling and tile inspections and building inspections. + Conduct light handyman tasks such as hanging pictures and pressure washing. + Assist in opening up buildings and expanding square footage. + Execute patching and painting work as required. + Provide administrative support and customer service. + Work off a ticketing system to manage tasks and requests. + Restock supplies such as papers and pens. Essential Skills + Basic handyman skills including plumbing and facilities tech experience. + Proficiency in using hand tools and simple power tools. + Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions. + Competency in computer skills, including handling tickets and emails. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school graduates eager to train and learn. + Painting experience and ability to patch walls. + Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Work Environment This position is onsite at a globally recognized tech company, providing a professional and collaborative environment. The role involves a 40-hour work week, scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with minimal overtime. Each technician is assigned a building and equipped with the necessary tools and technology to perform their duties. The work environment encourages teamwork and proactive problem-solving, ensuring that the facilities are well-prepared and maintained. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
