Workers will perform duties under SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse. Tasks include inspecting, grading, sorting, storing, and assisting with post-harvest treatment of crops, including operating grain dryers to reduce corn moisture. Workers will repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, mechanical equipment, buildings, fences, and other farm structures, and will report crop progress to supervisors.
Workers will operate tractors (e.g., Case Quadtrac), tractor-drawn implements (e.g., 1000-bushel grain cart), and GPS-equipped self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow, and cultivate soil. Workers will load agricultural products into non-CDL 10-13-speed trucks without over- or under-filling and transport products to market or storage.
Additional duties include cleaning work areas, maintaining farm grounds and landscaping, and using a snow blade to clear snow from the farmstead and grain storage areas.
Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity, wind, cold).
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
Once hired, workers may be required to submit to random drug testing at no cost to the worker. A positive test or refusal to comply may result in termination. Workers must be able to obtain an appropriate driver's license and present a clean driving record within 30 days of hire to operate company vehicles.

? EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
? Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
