The Human Resources Manager at theWit Hotel will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The HR Manager will drive strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain pay plan and benefits program to ensure competitive compensation and benefits. Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development programs for employees. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Cultivate a positive working environment and promote the company’s values and culture. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Related experience will also be accepted. Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruitment, and talent management. Experience working in the hospitality industry is highly desirable. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing HR team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels. In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions with a strategic mindset. Proficiency in HR software (Paycom is a strong plus) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
