The Role?
OUAI is looking for a talented and multi skilled Junior Designer to join the Creative team. Reporting to the Senior Brand Designer, this role may also collaborate closely with the Digital Design team based on project needs. The Designer will flex across various design projects to support evolving business needs and a high volume of projects. 

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Senior Brand Designer on various projects for the brand team, including (but not limited to) assets for organic social, events & activations, brand advertising and media across formats, brand collateral and presentation materials, merch, direct mail + other printed & digital assets.
  • Deliver assets for our retailers, including (but not limited to) P-page assets, web banners and print magazine advertising
  • Support the digital design team as needed
  • Structure files to optimize efficient workflow, review and production.
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with OUAI’s brand identity standards
  • Gather and synthesize stakeholder feedback to refine and deliver brand assets

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design,Communication Arts, or a related field preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in a professional design setting, preferably within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, typography, color, and layout

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, After Effects), Figma and Asana

  • Strong understanding of the printing process, including RGB vs. CMYK for web and print

  • Obsessive attention to detail, ensuring all designs meet brand standards

  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high volume environment with tight deadlines

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to shift seamlessly between projects and priorities based on evolving business needs

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to absorb and apply feedback and proactively problem solves. 

  • A deep understanding of and enthusiasm for the OUAI brand and its mission

  • Video editing experience a plus
