Position Summary

We are currently seeking motivated customer focused  All Marine Sales Professional to join our team. This role involves guiding customers through the Marine/Boat buying process—from first contact to final sale—while ensuring a positive and informative experience. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the boating industry, passionate about outdoor adventure, enjoys building customer relationships, and thrives in a sales-driven environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting a boat that fit their lifestyle and needs.

  • Continually evaluate market research, correctly identifying potential customers, their preferences and keeping current with trends in the boating industry.

  • Provide product knowledge and demonstrations to customers, including on the water demonstrations.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the sales process.​​​​​​​
  • Follow up with potential and existing customers to encourage repeat business.

  • Accurately complete sales paperwork and maintain required CRM records.

  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.

  • ​​​​​​​Work carefully with Marketing Director to ensure advertising, promotions and sales events are effective and reaching proper demographics.

  • Attend ongoing training sessions and stay current on product offering.​​​​​​​

 

Qualifications

  • Previous marine experience in sales is highly preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented.

  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

 

Compensation Options

  • Option 1: Base salary plus bonuses

  • Option 2: 100% commission-based plan
    Both options offer the potential to earn $100,000+ annually with high performance.
