Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45212
Type: Contract

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21/hour

Experience Required: 2+ years

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting local job in Cincinnati, OH .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
• Record vital signs, update medical histories, and maintain EMR documentation.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and adequate supplies.
• Perform clinical procedures such as vaccinations, phlebotomy, EKGs, and diagnostic testing.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage check-in/check-out, and handle pre-certifications.
• Process medication refills, prior authorizations, and coordinate with pharmacies and insurance providers.
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and healthcare regulations.
• Deliver compassionate patient support, fostering a positive experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS certification required; CMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
