The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.Description:Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patients ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Physical Therapist include (but are not limited to):Evaluating a patients condition and needsDeveloping treatment plans to address a patients needs and help them meet specific goalsAssessing a patients home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patients needs and improve independenceTraining patients and their caregivers to use special equipmentAssessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposesQualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.Licensed in KY.CPR certification.Ability to provide direct and supervised patient care.Knowledge of occupational therapy principles across the lifespan.Familiarity with standards of care for inpatients and outpatients.Apply today for immediate consideration!
