Job Title: Part-Time Business Analyst – Government SaaS

The Part-Time Business Analyst supports discovery, solution design, and post-implementation support for Kinship projects. This individual will play a key role in refining requirements, designing system logic, and translating public-sector financial workflows into scalable Salesforce configurations. This is a high-impact role for someone with deep Salesforce expertise who can triage support tickets, clarify enhancement requests, and assist in ensuring consistent delivery outcomes.
Lead or support business process documentation sessions with SMEs and PMs during discovery
Translate government workflows and SOPs into clear user stories with mapped system requirements
Collaborate with Product Owner and QA to define acceptance criteria for enhancements and features
Review enhancement and support tickets and recommend process or configuration changes
Serve as a triage partner with Support PMs to evaluate whether issues are configuration, training, or development related
Conduct walkthroughs of business logic with both internal team and customer stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Salesforce-based solutioning, business analysis, or configuration
Must hold a Salesforce Administrator certification (Advanced Admin or Business Analyst certification preferred)
Demonstrated experience working in public-sector Salesforce environments, particularly in financial or case management workflows
Strong understanding of data models, object relationships, record types, and Lightning page setup
Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to simplify complex workflows for end users and developers
Able to work independently and part-time across multiple customer implementations
2+ years of business analysis or functional support in a Salesforce or SaaS environment
Strong documentation and process mapping skills
Familiarity with human services, public-sector financials, or case management systems a plus
Able to work independently, part-time, and flexibly across multiple active projects
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
