Department: UCH Amb HOPD Pharmacy

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $67.27 - $94.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  • PGY1 residency preferred
  • Experience in ambulatory and/or inpatient operations preferred

· We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our dedicated team as the supervisor of our Inpatient Oncology Unit and Cell Therapy Center. In this role, you will collaborate across the cell therapy service spectrum of care as well as with our inpatient and ambulatory colleagues to ensur the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the daily operations of pharmacy services in assigned areas, ensuring efficient workflow and timely medication dispensing.

· Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies.

· Manage drug inventory, including procurement, storage, and diversion control, to minimize waste and ensure appropriate stock levels.

· Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients.

· Develop and implement quality improvement programs to enhance pharmacy services and patient safety.
