PRESIDENT/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Fusco Personnel is retained to recruit for a President/CEO to work for a public benefit corporation and political arm of NYS whose mission is to develop, maintain and operate the infrastructure of Roosevelt Island. Our client operates and maintains several facilities including the Cultural Center, Sportspark, and the Motorgate Garage; as well as other outdoor spaces such as Firefighter’s Field, Southpoint Park, and Lighthouse Park, among other facilities and locations. Infrastructure operations also include the Aerial Tramway, and a free Red Bus Service that stops at various points on Roosevelt Island; and a Public Safety Department that serves as the community’s first responders in coordination with the New York City Police Department. Our client’s workforce is also comprised of union workers and administrative staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must possess a master's, JD or doctorate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in the same. 
• Be a strong and committed leader.
• Have a background in managing many individuals in connection with complex transactions and objectives.  
• Candidates must have ten or more years of experience in commercial transactions, including real estate, in both the public and private sectors. 
• Candidates must have knowledge in the areas of real estate finance, development and governmental housing subsidy or finance programs and be an effective communicator and outstanding collaborator. 
• The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and leadership skills, exceptional judgment, and the ability to effectively manage a full-service operation.

SALARY RANGE

• $230,000 - $248,000/yr.
