We are excited to invite a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic virtual learning team! This remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Position Overview
As a Special Education Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in a virtual environment. We're looking for someone with a passion for online teaching and strong technology skills to provide personalized learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored instruction through virtual platforms to meet the unique needs of each student.
Create, implement, and manage IEPs, ensuring full compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students receive the right accommodations and modifications.
Keep accurate records and track student progress.
Lead virtual meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
Offer advice and support to parents/guardians on effective learning strategies for their children.
Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
A valid state teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
At least 2 years of experience teaching in a school setting.
Proficiency in virtual learning tools and educational technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the team.
