We're looking for a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join a dynamic and innovative virtual learning program. This fully remote position provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

Position Overview
As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a key role in creating and delivering personalized learning experiences for students with diverse needs in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in online teaching and be comfortable using educational technology to support students' growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Create and deliver customized instruction through virtual platforms to meet the unique needs of each student
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students receive the proper accommodations and modifications
Keep detailed records of student progress and ensure timely documentation
Host virtual meetings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to discuss student progress and strategies
Support and guide parents/guardians with effective learning strategies and resources
Engage in professional development and participate in team meetings to continually improve instructional practices

Qualifications

Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
At least 2 years of experience teaching in a school setting
Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and educational technology tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues
Experience in creating and managing IEPs
Ability to work independently while fostering a team-oriented environment
