The Department of Anesthesiologyâ™s Education Office is a fast-paced, collaborative office which serves medical students, residents, and fellows within the Department as well as the faculty who support these education programs. This role serves as the Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Administrator, which oversees all medical student courses, clerkships, observerships, and visiting learners within the Department of Anesthesiology. This role also provides administrative support for the Anesthesiology Education Office.
Ideal candidates must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, independent work skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills to be an integral part of this teamâ™s work. They are able to flexibly manage multiple priorities at once. They are organized and able to create timely and orderly workflows, often leveraging technology to maximize efficiency.
This position reports to the Residency Program Administrator in the Department of Anesthesiology and works closely with the education faculty leadership team. This is a hybrid position with 3 days on site per week. This role requires event support outside of normal working hours approximately 1-2 times per month.

â— BA/BS or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years
â— Ability to utilize Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Calendar for organizational and collaborative purposes
â— Ability to take initiative and use resources to problem-solve
â— Ability to multitask and flexibly prioritize to meet deadlines
â— Ability to independently track outstanding tasks and follow through on their completion
â— Strong attention to detail
â— Interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner (both written and verbal)
â— Ability to work comfortably on a dynamic, fast-paced, growth-oriented team
â— Ability to work hours outside of the normal work day on occasion and with advance notice as needed for education event support
